I hope everyone stays here for a soul-refresher: This cottage was fabulous! Clean, close to everything, and the view was incredible. The outdoor shower is a must and the family is wonderful. The coffeemaker, snacks, and other extras were perfect. Our stay at The Cottage was perfect! The space is beautifully decorated with such attention to detail.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the outdoor shower was a fun experience. Theresa was a lovely host. My boyfriend and I spent the last night of our California trip at the cottage and it was perfect for relaxing before our flight home the next day. The view from the porch is sublime and so peaceful. My only regret is not spending more than one night. I hope to return one day! We had a great stay at Rachel's flat. It was very clean and cozy - cool architecture and layout too. The location was great, close to the Gaslamp area, airport, and freeway, so it was easy to get around. Beaches aren't too far either just right off the freeway. Rachel was very accomodating and allowed us to check in early from a morning flight. Would highly recommend this place if you're staying in the San Diego area, looking for an entire apt, and need a central location.
Overall it was great, thanks Rachel! Also, last note, the French press coffee maker was a neat addition. Cozy and comfortable, and in a lovely location close to lots of yummy restaurants and cafes! Short drive from the airport - and having a dedicated parking spot at the apartment was a great bonus!
Everything about this space was amazing from the way the light dances off the walls in the morning to the decorations on the walls. Just a beautiful place to unwind and relax. It was a pleasurable experience staying at the loft. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay close enough to the Gaslamp, but just far enough outside of the hustle and bustle. Let me start by saying I am having a bit of separation anxiety from this beautiful abode. A few quick pointers: It is perfectly tucked among the trees, so even in the heat of summer, the heat was never a problem. I don't like to feel hovered over or watched, so I felt completely free to be me! Easy access and directions for check in and check out, close and walking distance from many shops and restaurants, secluded and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay!
I love this home and would stay again and again! Great for a day trip around the city, and an easy minute trip to downtown districts and the beaches etc. He welcomed us upon arrival to give us keys, and offered awesome suggestions for places to eat and explore. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The space was a cute little studio with all the amenities and high ceilings. We enjoyed eating fresh ceviche from the market on the front porch.
The neighborhood was fabulous, we walked almost everywhere we went. There are great restaurants, fun little thrift stores, and coffee shops just a few blocks away. If you are there over the weekend make sure to check out the Hillcrest Farmers Market! Filbert was a fantastic host. Whole Foods, Ralph's supermarket, Trader Joes, and a well-run Goodwill store are just a walk away, plus a good movie theater a few minutes by car. And Filbert is a great host, helpful and responsive. Filbert is gentleness, helpful, respectful!! Me and my fiance had good time!! We recommend this place. Filbert's apartment is charming with lots of windows, and is in a wonderful location. Lots of restaurants and grocery shopping within walking distance. Filbert is extremely helpful and welcoming to guests.
We definitely will stay here again if we come back to San Diego. Filbert's room rental was excellent. It is very spacious, clean, safe, and secure. The rental is in a prime location, which is only two blocks from many great restaurants and shopping, as well as easy access to Balboa Park, downtown, and elsewhere. Parking was easy to find, even on late weekend nights. There's no wifi and cable tv, but I didn't really need it since I was mainly there just to sleep.

The room was beautiful and exactly as in the pictures. Margo even went above and beyond by adding a mirror in the room during our stay. She truly thought of everything! Coffee, light breakfast, fruit and snack items were always available to us. Her neighborhood was wonderful for exploring and was also super close to downtown San Diego every Uber ride was between 4 and 7 dollars- not bad at all! The best thing was getting home to Chicago and opening my suitcase only to smell the light, fresh, airy scent of Margo's home. Just made me miss San Diego even more! We had a wonderful stay at Margo's place. Her house has lots of character and is very tidy.

I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. We spent 2 nights at Tanja's place in San Diego. The room was as described, so the position. We arrived by car and we did not have problem in finding parking lot just in front of the house. For the time spent it was worth it! Reccomended to all those travelling to san diego.

Tall ceilings, large windows, great light! All this was appreciated after being on the road for 10 days prior to this and staying in relatively small places. Rachel and Shelley were friendly, welcoming, and had great suggestions for walks and restaurants.

Great Italian restaurant downstairs, fresh organic juices down the road, farmers market on the weekend, amazing art supply store all a couple of minutes walk away. This place is seriously adorable and in the best location ever! The building is a bit older but the apartment is a dream and very comfortable for 2 or up to four guests! We loved the promximity to everything in Little Italy and the breakfast spot Harbor downstairs.

Sam was very welcoming. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. He sent us all the information about checking in ahead of time.
The house was beautiful and clean. The nighborhood was nice and safe. Sam was an attentive and respectful Airbnb host. We didn't end up seeing him because we were busy exploring San Diego during the majority of our trip, but he posted a welcome sign for us and gave us clear directions on how to access our room and the property itself.
He was very responsive to the questions I had and sent us a welcome message the day before our stay. The listing was also very accurately represented on the Airbnb website and we LOVED having a king size bed because we're such tall people.

It is a good size for two or three people, comfortable with just enough furnishings and decor to feel like a contemporary home but not enough so things are in the way.

While the house is four blocks from the beach, it's probably twice that far to the main drag and since parking is difficult to find, it was great having the bikes.
There are also good paths over to Mission Bay and even into the city better on a road bike as it's at least 7 miles. It was a bit of a heat wave while we were there July and the house gets quite hot. Three are ceiling fans and Cliff provided additional room fans. It was nice outside on the patio and it did cool down at night. Another downside out of our host's control is the flip side of having such a conveniently located airport: We appreciated the earplugs provided and it's quiet between 11pm and 6am but if you're a light sleeper or want to sleep in, Ocean Beach is probably not the best neighborhood for you.
Overall we had a nice, relaxing, enjoyable getaway made even better by staying in this charming bungalow suite. What a fantastic and charming place to stay! Exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. Cliff was always immediate on the response to any queries or requests. The location was superb! Close to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely come back here on our next trip to San Diego! We had a great time in San Diego!
Cliff was a great host, everything was very clean!! The house was very nice and it was awesome to be able to just walk to the beach!!! Cliff is great and so is his spot. Had so much fun in that town. Make sure to download the bird app! Great location, lovely beach-type cottage. Be aware that the home is under the flight path, but earplugs are provided!! If you're hesitant over booking don't be! Tara's place is a very nice house, well maintained and with good amenities. The room was comfortable and clean. It is well placed for getting around Ocean Beach. One negative point of the house is the noise from the airport, we were woken up at around 6. However, I would still recommend it!

I stayed with two of my friends in Tanja's RV, and it was a very pleasant experience! Tanja is a very welcoming and accommodating host, we loved her dogs and parrots, and had a great time hanging out chicas en chula vista de rent homes their patio.
The place is also very central to everything in San Diego. We would definitely recommend staying with Tanja. I was pleased to find an affordable place in a convienent location. The bed was comfortable and the other trailer owners were quiet. That said the trailer it self was a little run down and lacking some basic ammonites such as wash cloths, kitchen towed and.
If you are not expecting much you will probably be happy. I would most stay here again for the location and comfort alone. One last thing the hot water in the shower is short lived. I had to turn it off for a bit and on again to finish showering. Tanja's RV was perfect for our 4 night stay in San Diego! It was close to the freeway easy access to popular destinationseasy check in for our late arrival, and just the right amount of space for 2 people.
The inside of the RV was clean and well stocked with supplies we needed to be comfortable during our stay. I would highly recommend Tanja as a host to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable location to stay in!

Tanja was super helpful and great! Tanja is an excellent host! We contacted her and got a response back within 10 minutes. The RV park was in a great location, right off of I-5 and right in the middle of everything. We did had a couple minors issues: The wireless internet network and password she left us was not correct.
The RV was not leveled so everything leaned a little to the left. It worked fine we just had to figure it out. Other than those minor things it was great, and we really enjoyed San Diego! Great host, great home, really good stay in San Diego. I highly recommend staying in Tanja and Hon's luxury RV. Service is over the top. Arrived late straight from LA airport, Kirsten made check in simple. The guest house was perfect, clean, cosy and great for what we needed. Close to drive to Downtown San Diego and other nearby areas. Nice restaurants and bars just up the street and a walkable distance. Personal favourite aspects about the stay, really comfy bed, amazing shower,coffee machine and the scenic balcony to sit out the back.
Would totally recommend and would stay again if in the area. The space is quaint, well decorated and had great views! The space was perfect for my fiancé and I while staying in San Diego. This is a perfect place for two people and the guesthouse was nice and clean.
Also, the drive to and from Point Loma was such a breeze. In addition, there are so many great places to eat nearby you won't have any problem searching for a great place to eat. Kirsten greeted us on the first night and it was so nice of her letting us know that if we needed anything we can ask her or her husband. I would definitely stay at their cozy guesthouse again! Kirsten's space was perfect for a short stay in the city.
Very easy to drive to from the airport and with great access to downtown San Diego. The neighbourhood is great, a short walk to some nice restaurants and bars - we tried Cantina Mayahuel on Kirsten's recommendation which was fab. The private outdoor space was also great. The space itself was amazing, so clean and bright with bespoke details that made the space feel like home. The bed was comfortable, the little patio was perfect and the bathroom was clean and easy to use.

Kirsten made us feel very welcome, she was away the weekend of our stay, but made sure that we knew that we could contact her if we had any questions. Parking on the street is very limited but we were able to find a park on the street even if it was further down. Overall a nice little space to stay when visiting San Diego. Staying at William's place is a good choice for visiting San Diego, because it is located in a lovely and quiet area, with great views and close to the interesting areas of SD, like Old Town, Downtown, Gaslamp Quarter.
The place is not really big but it is quite comfortable and convenient, besides it was a nice surprise finding out that the house itself is labeled as a San Diego historic landnmark. The parking is easy, and in the night you can really rest because it is so peaceful! It's a really cozy studio with a very special romantic athmosphere and a lovely terrace. It is well equipped, though quite small for a longer stay very limited space for clothes. It is located 15 minutes from the town center by car, but parking is free and the neighbourhood is very nice and quite.
The view from the terrace is amazing, we enjoyed staying here! Fantastic little tucked away space with amazing energy, accommodations and view. The special touches like cookies, great communication and easy to follow instructions made the stay perfect and will want to return! Perfect little get-away place for a young couple. The building is an official historical location built inwhich is really fun and there is a ton of character. Being a 94 year old building, keep an open mind to some of the gates and doors needing a little TLC to open when locked ex.
But, that's all it is, is a little TLC and if you want a gorgeous view and a sweet little place to snuggle with your other half, then TLC is a managable price in my opinion. We went for our first anniversary so we stayed for one evening as we live locally. It was perfect for two people but three would be a major crowd in that space - two only! The shower took a little getting used to, but just ask and William will help you even when he's on vacation!
Last, but not least, they gave us cookies! Great place, great experience and we are looking forward to booking again soon! Such a lovely spot to visit! William and his wife were also so helpful when we forgot a wallet in the room. Williams place was absolutely heavenly for our vacation in San Diego!
The neighborhood is beautiful we actually had a great time walking around and exploring, looking at all the houses. William included detailed instructions for how to check into the Airbnb and had guidelines printed out as well as handmade cookies which were delicious! They provided beach towels which was perfect as we didn't pack thoseblankets out on the patio, plenty of bath towels and the closet included a fan, fridge, board games among other things.
The location is perfect -- right between the beach and downtown so it was absolutely perfect for us. I sent friends and family pictures of the place and they all want to go to San Diego and stay here! Thank you for an amazing stay! This studio is absolutely perfect. It is in a great location - views of the sunset overlooking the city,within walking distance of delicious restaurants, and centrally located to all the main San Diego sites.
In addition, the vibe of the studio is a dream. When I first arrived, I could not believe the view and how secluded it felt even in the middle of everything. I definitely hope to be back again. Solo teníamos para nosotras una parte de la casa dos dormitorios y un baño, y en la entrada varios utensilios para preparar un desayuno.
Tara was a great host! She was very responsive to messages, and she made our stay very comfortable. We enjoyed staying in the cozy apartment. Great spot to stay! We loved the Ocean Beach area. Everything is very walkable and it was awesome being by the dog beach. Tara is a great host and so helpful. The accommodations were wonderful and the bed might be the most comfortable I've ever slept in: We really enjoyed staying at Tara's place.
She is a very good host and was always available if needed. This is a good place to stay and is a minute walk to the beach and to many other restaurants and shops within Ocean beach. Walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops and the beach. We only could stay one night, but we really enjoyed it. Really close to ocean beach and old town! So great breakfast places is a given.
The Airbnb was especially adorable with cute little notes on how to use things or where to find them. Tara has literally thought of everything one may need on a trip to San Diego. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes by! Showed up earlier than expected and was able to get in right away! Tara was great and the location was perfect to access what ocean beach has to offer! Clean and contemporary vibes. Only down side was all the rules for this place but would still recommend if looking to be close to downtown San Diego.
Happy overall with this stay! It's a bright, sunny spot with a lovely view of downtown San Diego and an easy walk to the Gaslamp. Everything is spotless and well cared for. We think it would be a great spot for a small family visiting the city.
